Tomorrow is a Chance to Start Over – New Children's Book/Album

Tomorrow is a Chance to Start Over

Pre-orders have begun for Tomorrow is a Chance to Start Over – a brand new children’s bedtime storybook/album by yours truly!!

I wrote the story and music, sang and played the songs, created the clay characters and collaborated on the artwork with some incredible artists (Dana Irving, Adam Thomas, Dan Jackson and Mike Southworth) to bring this spectacular project to life.

Extra special thanks to Mike Southworth for his beautiful studio production and Matthew Rogers for his stunning string arrangements with the Yaletown String Ensemble.

The music turned out exquisitely lush and whimsical – some of you may have already heard a few of these songs on TV shows like Grimm (NBC), Continuum (Showcase) and Arctic Air (CBC). The book’s artwork has a tactile, hand-made quality that conjures the magic of childhood imagined and real, a transformation of surroundings into something spectacular.

The story is about Ira and Isabelle, two siblings living in a little red house by the sea, who decide one night to escape the sound of the city’s beeping cars and sail off to a faraway land. In addition to the narrated story, the album offers 9 original dream songs along with an ethereal rendition of Johanne Brahms’ classic Cradle Song

The book/album will be officially released June 2, 2015 by Parents’ Choice Award-winning publisher of storybooks with CDs for children, Secret Mountain, but you can pre-order your copy now!
